Stratford Hall is a not-for-profit organization that exists under the Society Act of British Columbia. The school is a registered charity called the Stratford Hall (School) Society.

The Stratford Hall Board of Governors is responsible for the operation of the school. The Board sets priorities, approves annual budgets, and appoints the Head of School who, in turn, is responsible for ensuring that the school runs in a manner that supports the mission and vision of the school. The Board meets approximately five times per year, and more frequently if required.

A second organization, also under the Society’s Act of BC, is the Stratford Hall Foundation. The Foundation holds major capital assets, and conducts capital fundraising. The Board of Trustees leads the Foundation.
