Message from the Head of School

March 29, 2021

Dear Stratford Hall Community,

I want to reach out to you today to share details about the new restrictions that have come into place today, March 29, 2021.

With immediate effect, public health guidance for K to 12 schools has been updated to support and encourage students in Grades 4 to 12 to wear masks at school.

We are aware of many families who have spent part of their Spring Break at Whistler or who have travelled. As per Dr. Henry's instructions, please watch for symptoms. I urge you to keep your child home from school if they feel sick or have any sign of illness. Get tested immediately if you or anyone in your family feels sick and to avoid all non-essential travel.

At this time, it is our collective responsibility to continue our efforts and ensure we all follow the guidelines that keep us healthy and safe:

  • Maximize physical distancing
  • Minimize physical contact
  • Practice frequent and proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette
  • Wear masks as appropriate and required
  • Conscientiously complete the Daily Health Check prior to coming to school

We are into the final stretch of this school year, I want to thank you for your ongoing efforts to help keep our Stratford Hall community safe. I urge all of us to continue making responsible decisions to protect the health of our community, allowing us to provide your children a full curricular programme.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

We are all in this together.

Yours truly,

Dean Croy
Head of School
