We are delighted to welcome students back to school on September 9. While school is going to look a little different this September, we cannot wait for our students and staff to fill the classrooms and corridors with their voices and laughter.

School will not be like it was before COVID-19, but, collectively, we will make the best of it! We will do this by following the guidelines set forth by the authorities, the Ministries of Health and Education, which are found in our Restart Plan. The unwavering commitment of our community to this plan will help us keep our campus open during this Stage 2 return to school.

It is very important that families read the content thoroughly in the Restart Plan (published today) and discuss it with your child(ren). Please emphasize the expectations and key behaviours with your children, which ensure that together, we can continue to move towards the fullest experience of Stratford Hall's programmes and resources.

Each morning, Stratford Hall students and employees must have a daily health check completed. The checklist can be found in the Restart Plan. Parents must perform this daily screening of their child before arriving at school. If a student or employee is feeling unwell, they must stay home from school and should seek appropriate medical advice and/or attention. The protocols relating to students and employees who become unwell while on campus are noted in the Restart Plan. You will receive further information on the screening tool prior to the start of school.

It is unavoidable that school life will take some adjustment, however, we know our students, employees and parents are committed to rising to this challenge with flexibility and resilience.

We are confident that, as we welcome you back, the singular energy of re-emerging school life and learning will enliven us all, and that our students will flourish.

I look forward to welcoming all our students back to the campus and thank you in advance for your continued support and cooperation.
