Re: Transitional Remote Learning Programme - September 14 to 25

Stratford Hall is initiating a remote learning programme for families who would prefer to have their child/ren at home for the next two weeks in response to recent instructions from the Independent Schools Branch.

This is the only change to our existing Restart PlanOnly students who have a doctor's note indicating the need for accommodations due to health-related risks will have access to a programme of support beyond September 25. All medical notes must be forwarded to the respective Principal.

This transition period of remote learning will allow students to receive access to learning from home until Friday, September 25. Students whose families select this option will be expected to return to school full-time on Monday, September 28 under the Ministry of Education's Stage 2 plans unless they have obtained a doctor's note as per the Ministry guidelines.

Remote Learning during Transition Period:
Remote learning will be offered from Monday, September 14 to Friday, September 25:
  • Junior School - Remote learning packages in the core subjects (hard copy only) for Junior School students will be prepared each Tuesday and Thursday for the next two weeks and be available for collection between 3:45pm and 4:30pm at the entrance of the PYP Building. A homeroom teacher or resource teacher will respond to questions students or parents may have. Additional instructions will be sent in the first remote learning package.
  • Senior School - Senior School students will have access to ManageBac in order to engage in learning activities and daily lesson plans for each course. Students will also have access to their advisory teacher or a resource teacher if they have questions.
Attendance Record for Transition Period:
This option will allow students to remain at home and have their attendance recorded as "present at home".

If you would like to participate in this option, please complete this form by the end of today, September 11.
