Director of Finance and Operations

Reporting to the Head of School, the Director of Finance and Operations (“Director”) is a key role that leads four direct reports – Controller, Director of IT, Facilities Manager, and Payroll and Personnel Services Manager, and a total team of nine responsible for finance and accounting, technology, budgeting, expense reporting, purchasing, facilities, and transportation. The Director plays a key role in the development of short-term tactics and long-term strategy, and communicates with multiple stakeholders in the School. A member of senior leadership, the Director develops strong relationships with staff members, school parents, and external organizations. Through the performance of their duties, the Director inspires confidence in and commitment to the School. They effectively steward the Stratford Hall’s resources and play a lead role in planning for and mitigating risk to the School and the Foundation.
