It has been wonderful to have your children back in school! The students I have spoken to are relieved to be back in class and, from my observations, are being very vigilant in wearing their masks, sanitizing their hands and following the protocols we have implemented to keep them safe. I appreciate their diligence and the fantastic role modelling of our staff in classrooms and corridors. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your cooperation during the first couple of weeks of school as we continue to modify our pick-up and drop-off schedule, reducing congestion and allowing more physical distancing at these times.

We are committed to ensuring that Stratford Hall will be safe, secure and clean for our students and staff. To this end, allow me to take this opportunity to remind you that we updated the Restart Plan in accordance with updates from the BC Centre for Disease Control and Ministry of Education, most notably, the instructions on when to keep your child home from school, which is found on pages 12 and 13 of the Restart Plan. It is important that you review the updated Daily Health Check process if you have not already done so.

The School continues to receive regular advice on appropriate measures to protect students and our whole community as we approach this complex and changing situation. We are in touch with local health agencies, the BC Ministry of Education, and other ISABC schools.
